St. Jude Radiothon

The Annual St. Jude Radiothon will be held on February 7th and 8th at the Monument Mall in Scottsbluff.  This two day event is brought together in conjunction with KOZY and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in an effort to raise money for St. Jude.  St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is located in Memphis, TN and is the number one children's hospital in the world working to find cures for childhood cancer and catastrophic disease.  Join us in making a difference in just one child's life.  St. Jude Children's Research Hospital never asks anyone to pay for the treatment they receive at the hospital.  They also provide airfare, housing and other necessities to the patient's families.  The Radiothon will be broadcasted live from 6am to 7pm on both days on KOZY.  For more information regarding St. Jude please visit them at www.stjude.org.

We will also have fundraising efforts leading up to the Radiothon.  On Friday, January 25th we will be broadcasting live from Auto Plaza located at the corner of 27th Street and Avenue I in Scottsbluff.  Come down and make a donation for a chance to Smash Cancer for Kids.  We will be taking donations and in turn you will get to smash one of Joe's cars with a sledge hammer.

On Sunday, February 3rd, we will be live at the Oregon Trail Lounge.  The 1st Annual Super Bowl Bash for St. Jude's will begin at 1pm and last until the last person leaves.  We will have some great giveaways throughout the day including a 32" LG LCD from Schnell's Entertainment and Electronics.  Plus the KOZY staff will be waiting tables for tips.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  It will cost you nothing to get in.  You can buy tickets for the raffles throughout the day and there will be great food and drink specials.  This is guaranteed to be the biggest Super Bowl Party in the Panhandle.  A special thank you to Miller Lite, Coors Light and Bud Light for their sponsorship.  For more information please contact promotions@hometownfamilyradio.com.
